Atmar, Vohra talk issues of mutual interest

KABUL (Pajhwok): National Security Advisor (NSA) Mohammad Hanif Atmar has met Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Manpreet Vohra and discussed wide range of issues of mutual interest

Atmar appreciated the assistance of India with Afghanistan, called India a strategic partner and friend of Afghanistan and emphasized on expanding, strengthening bilateral relationship.

The NSC on its social media account said two sides also talked about the economic relationship between Afg-India and regional security.

Ambassador Vohra assured his country’s commitment to support Afghanistan in strategic and major economic projects and hailed President Ashraf Ghani’s vision and efforts for regional peace and stability.
