A statement from the governor’s office said three schools would get new buildings. Buildings of three other schools would be repaired at a cost of around $700,000.

It said that governor, who was accompanied by the acting education director and some other officials, also visited the main school in Dur Baba district.

The education director distributed some aid packages to the school administration during the visit, the statement added.

The construction of a building for a secondary school in Gorogo area of Dur Baba district is currently underway and will be completed in a month.

The school in 260 square meters contains 12 rooms, bathrooms and other essential parts, the source added.
