Pakistan army hit Afghan territory with 28 more artillery shells

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Pakistani security forces have again fired 28 more rockets into eastern Nangarhar province from across the Durand Lineinfo-icon, an official said on Saturday.

Governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News Pakistani rockets targeted Naw and Nakhtar areas of Nazyan district on Friday evening. He did not provide details about casualties.

Earlier, a woman was killed in a similar attack by Pakistani forces.

Pakistaninfo-icon again started firing rockets into Afghan territory recently which inflicted casualties to civilians.

Separately, six people injured when a dispute between two families turned violent in Jalalabad City, the provincial capital. Governor’s spokesman confirmed the incident and said the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

Khogyani said that a person was killed by his brother in another incident in the Gardi Kash area of Behsud district. The killer managed to flee but security forces launched a manhunt for investigating the incident and capturing the murderer.
