Ghazni education official gunned down by motorcyclists

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot dead an education supervisor for the Andar district of southern Ghazni province on Wednesday, an official said.

The provincial education department head, Mohammad Abid Abid, told Pajhwok Afghan News Taza Gul Nangyalai was gunned down early in the morning by unknown attackers.

He said the supervisor came under gunfire on his to a mosque for Fajr prayers.

Ghazni police chief, Brig. Gen. Aminullah Amarkhel, confirmed the incident, claiming the district’s education supervisor had been killed by Taliban.

According his information, the incident took place in the Habib-Godalo locality of the district.

Mohammad Anwar, a resident of the area, said Taza Gul was attacked by gunmen on a motorbike. However, he had no idea who the attackers were.
