Parwan teacher killed on World Teachers’ Day

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Unknown gunmen shot dead a teacher in the Bagram district of central Parwan province on Tuesday, when the world celebrated the ‘Teachers’ Day’.

The Bagram district chief, Abdul Shakoor Qudosi, told Pajhwok Afghan News the district’s Allauddin High School teacher was killed on his way to the school to attend an event celebrating the World Teachers’ Day.

Mohammad Amin was shot dead by two motorcyclists in Khanjarkhel area of the district, the official said.   

He said no one had been arrested so far in connection with the murder but a probe was underway.

Two days back, a teacher was killed the same way in Sayedkhel district of Parwan.
