19 Samangan departments get modern equipment

AIBAK (Pajhwok): At least 19 provincial government departments in northern Samangan province have been provided with modern office equipment costing over 18.5 million afs with financial assistance by the government of Germany, an official said.

Kabir Sharifi, an employee of GIZ, a German organization, stated the equipment included 117 laptops, 39 desktops, 115 printers, nine copiers, 32 projectors with screens, six cameras, eight internet modems, five hard disks, 131 anti-virus CDs, six tables, 164 chairs, 13 chairmen desks and chairs, 184 managers’ desks and chairs, 43 round chairs, 183 steel and would cupboards, 23 seat furniture, 5 speech desks, 2984 square meters rugs, 180 carpets, 2 metal safes, 6348 meters curtains, 15 air conditioners.

In addition, two water pumps, four water coolers, 84 ground and roof fans, five loudspeakers along with microphones, three water tankers, 45 electric heaters, 613 one body chairs, five water heaters, two big lights of 1,000 watts 65 power purifier.

The equipments were delivered to 19 government departments such as the governors’ office, information and culture, educational, customs, environment protection, labors and social affairs, administrative reform, tribal, agriculture, center statistic, pilgrimage, public affairs, economy and some other local departments. 

Acting Governor Khairullah Anush thanked the government of Germany and expressed satisfaction that it would boost the performance of the departments.
