Taliban kill 7, injure 5 in Parwan

<!--break--><p>CHARIKAR (PAN): Taliban attacked civilians in the central province of Parwan, killing seven members of one family and injuring five others, officials said on Monday.</p><p>The civilians were in their cars when Taliban opened fire at 8am in Dehn Rang area of Sia Gerd district, killing seven people of the same family and injuring three others, Mohammad Aziz, executive chief of Sia Gerd district, told Pajhwok Afghan News. Another two relatives were also injured.</p><p>He said those killed and injured were from Deh Kapak, in Kabul city, and they were going to Band-e-Amir in Bamyan province.</p><p>Parwan province police chief, Abdul Rahman Sayed Khili, said the attack was carried out by Taliban insurgents.</p><p>Enayatullah, who lives in the area, said he helped take the injured to hospital, but could not say whether the attack was carried out by Taliban or not.</p><p>Dr. Sebghatullah, head of Sia Gerd district clinic, said four of the injured were in a critical condition; with only one woman in good health.</p><p>The Taliban have not commented on the incident so far.</p><p>am /cas</p>
